Viral Videos Are Going Mainstream

Interesting. The Comedy Business Turns to the Web, wrote Laura Holson of the New York Times. It is about how comedy is finding an outlet through the web. The piece features "The Landlord"--- yes, it's that one about Will Farrell and Pearl (we blogged about it in our post Everyone Care, Nobody Cry).

why is this interesting?

Viral videos are starting to catch the attention of mainstream media. the web--- is increasingly becoming a medium of communication for not just netizens but for ordinary folk who care nothing about whether it is web x.x. Coupled with today's news from Apple that YouTube is Coming to Apple TV... don't you think, it's great that viral videos are going mainstream?
