ZDNet: 10 reasons why Linux will oust Windows

I can give two reasons why it wont (at least not in the foreseeable future):

1) User Interface and 2) User Experience

...are still way behind Windows. For example, highlight a word on any app or part of a linux desktop, whether or not it is KDE, or Gnome, and a context menu should pop that says, search in google or look up in dictionary... etc. Click it and the default browser must go to google or the machine fires up the dictionary.


On OS X this very thing makes life easy for the user:

That's just one example.

That isn't to say Linux hasn't improved over the years, and after retrying Sabayon Linux 4 the other day, I must say, it has improved a lot. It is much more useable now.
