Michael Turner, Comic Book Artist Lost His Battle w/Cancer
Michael Turner, comic book artist, lost his battle against cancer. His Supergirl is a favorite of mine (see image). My condolences to his family and friends.

tsk. a lot of truly artistic people are leaving us; perhaps its time that our generation took up the mantle; or has it already?
supergirl was one of my fave comics when i was younger. i even watched the movie, but when i reviewed it a couple of years ago, i found the story a bit thin for my taste ;-)
caryn, did you get a chance to read, Superman/Batman tpb Vol 2. "Supergirl" that collected The GIrl from Krypton, Superman/Batman #8-13? It reintroduced the character.
Supergirl's kinda mixed up right now but DC is bringing her closer to Superman's world. Hope you get a chance to peak at that.
