Are We Headed Towards a Global Great Recession?

It certainly seems, especially in the last few hours that this Financial Crisis gripping the world is one vicious cycle after another. The UK looks headed to join the US with economic trouble.

The market is gripped by fear. Who wouldn't? Would you be the last guy holding the empty bag? I certainly don't blame some for thinking we could all be headed towards a Great Depression. 

If you can catch a man, right before he falls, you would have stopped his fall. But once the fall has started, you can never stop it. The Great Fear is that we are already falling.

Of course, there are many ways by which we can make sure the landing isn't as painful. It isn't the falling really that matters, it is the getting up after the fall that does.

It would be interesting to see what happens when Wall Street opens in a few hours.
