No Peace, Unless there is Justice

According to ABS-CBN News:

"I would press the government not to continue the fighting even, especially at the Ramadan time," Cotabato Archbishop Orlando Quevedo said in a statement.
The pursuit of Justice shouldn't stop just because of some religious event. We don't stop arresting Criminals on Christmas Day nor are Laws suspended on Easter, on account of Religion. Perhaps Archbishop Orlando Quevedo has forgotten what A Just War is. Though this one isn't a war per se, we must bring the criminals who call themselves MILF to justice no matter of what religious event transpires.

The Problem of Mindanao is mistaken as a Muslim Versus Christian thing. Please, don't fall for that trap. This isn't a religious war. This isn't about religion at all. Though some people may want us to think. This is about bringing criminals to justice. The Criminals are named the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.

It doesn't matter if they separate themselves from the more hardline members of their group. They're still MILF. They still commit atrocities in the name of their religion but this isn't a religious war. The only justice there is to bring these Filipinos to face their crimes before a Court of Law or be utterly destroyed.
